UV Curing System Selector
Three questions, one recommendation. Tell us where you cure, whether you know your adhesive’s wavelength, and how many points at once, this selector points you to the right system and a quote.
Questions
Which UV curing system should I buy?
It depends on where you cure, your adhesive’s wavelength, and how many points at once. Broad-spectrum or unknown chemistry → SunSpot 2 arc; a known LED band on a bench or line → SkyBeam 4-channel LED; field or oversized parts → SkyWand handheld. This selector and the /compare page walk you through it.
What is the difference between the SunSpot 2, SkyBeam, and SkyWand?
The SunSpot 2 is a 200 W broad-spectrum arc (cures any chemistry, highest intensity); the SkyBeam is a 4-channel UV LED system (matched wavelengths, programmable, automation-ready); the SkyWand is a cordless handheld LED wand (field and oversized-part curing). See /compare for a full side-by-side.
Do I need a broad-spectrum arc or an LED system?
Use broad-spectrum (SunSpot 2) when the chemistry is unqualified, varied, or needs UVB/UVC. Use matched LED (SkyBeam/SkyWand) when your adhesive cures at a specific 365–405 nm band and you want instant on/off, no lamp aging, and low heat.
