Curing Four UV Joints at Once with Independent Channels

When a part needs four bonds cured together, splitting one source four ways starves each joint. Step by Step

  1. 1 Fit a guide per joint. Route one LED light guide from each channel to each joint. Up to four points are covered in one setup.
  2. 2 Set each channel independently. Program each channel’s timer and intensity to its own joint, a thin fillet and a thick bond can cure side by side at different doses.
  3. 3 Fire the cycle. Trigger all channels with the foot switch. Because each channel is a full source, every joint sees full intensity simultaneously.
  4. 4 Verify per channel. Check each channel’s output at the joint with a radiometer, and watch the per-channel LED life logs so an aging emitter is caught before it drifts a joint out of spec.
